The substation is part of the Amur PMES of the MES of the East. Located 50 km from the village of Nagorny, the southern part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It incorporates a 220 kV outdoor switchgear. This switchgear is designed to supply power to the compressor station KS No. 5, which ensures the transit of natural gas through the Power of Siberia gas pipeline in this section of it.
In a short period of September 2020, commissioning work was carried out on electrical equipment and relay protection devices and the substation was able to provide power to CS No. 5.
