our company’s specialists carried out the commissioning of the reconstructed 110 kV Komsomolsky substation in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug in the period from December 2022 to September 2023.
The 110 kV Komsomolsky RP substation plays a key role in the distribution of energy from the Lomonosov floating thermal nuclear power plant (NPP) and the Bilibino NPP, the world’s only nuclear power plants beyond the Arctic Circle.
The commissioning of two single-core overhead lines under construction from PS 110 Beregovaya to PS 110 kV Komsomolsky and on to RP Bilibino, which is currently under construction, will significantly increase the reliability of the entire Pevek-Bilibino power plant.
The main scope of the contract included works in the plant to adapt RZA, PA, UPASK, SHSN, SHPT, BKTP, HF, power equipment of the OP.
