As part of a large-scale project to organize a power distribution scheme for two power units No. 6 and No. 7 of Novovoronezh NPP-2, Power System Group supplied and set up an automated process control system for the upgraded Novaya Substation, outdoor switchgear-220 kV and outdoor switchgear-500 kV. In connection with the construction of entrances to the Novaya substation of the 220 kV NVNPP-2 cable line and the 220 kV industrial zone substation, the main power and electrical equipment was replaced, including AT-15 autotransformers, SF6 circuit breakers, 220 kV disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, relay protection devices.
The main purpose of creating an automated process control system is to control and manage the operation of equipment for the transmission and distribution of electricity, improve the reliability of the electrical networks of the Novaya Substation, 220 kV outdoor switchgear and 500 kV outdoor switchgear at Novovoronezh NPP-2. The supplied APCS complex included 28 cabinets, 13 workstations. The implementation of the APCS complex was completed in June 2015.
