Within the technical repowering of the Kodinskaya major step-down substation, including the replacement of microelectronic devices of relay protection with microprocessor-based ones, specialists of Power Systems Group improved the automated control systems of I&C complex manufactured by Siemens.
Current automated control system cabinets were equipped with an additional SICAM TM data acquisition controller and communication equipment, its installation included power and control cables.
The application SICAM PAS software servers have been modified, so as SICAM TM controllers. Start-up and adjustment works also have been carried out with the the automated process control systems in newly installed equipment, as well as the integration of new microprocessor devices of relay protection into the SICAM PAS I&C complex.
