Relay protection equipment for the 3rd and 4th stages of construction of the 220 kV overhead line Lesozavodsk-Spassk-Dalnevostochnaya

In May 2021, Power System Group completed the project for the supply and commissioning of relay protection and automation equipment, as part of the 3rd and 4th stages of construction of the 220 kV overhead line Lesozavodsk-Spassk-Dalnevostochnaya.

RPA cabinets for the main and backup line protection were supplied to the 220 kV Spassk substation, the 220 kV Arseniev substation and the 220 kV NPS-40 substation.

Works on commissioning of relay protection and automation panels were carried out in two stages in accordance with the schedule for putting into operation the 220 kV overhead line Spassk-NPS-40 and the 220 kV overhead line Arseniev-2 — NPS-41.

During the work, the following was done:
— parameterization of RPA terminals and loading of DIGSI-project into MP-devices
— loading into the MP-devices of the design, and then the current settings;
— checking the logic of the protection operation, the characteristics of all stages and time delays;
— check of all circuits of interaction of terminals inside the cabinet between themselves and other equipment;
-complex testing of relay protection and automation devices with impact on switches and other switching devices;

Relay protection equipment for the 3rd and 4th stages of construction of the 220 kV overhead line Lesozavodsk-Spassk-Dalnevostochnaya— adjustment and double-sided check of DZL VL 220 Spassk-NPS-40 and VL 220 kV Arseniev-2 — NPS-41.

The implementation of the project for the construction of a 220 kV overhead line Lesozavodsk-Spassk-Dalnevostochnaya will increase the reliability of power supply to consumers in the Primorsky Territory and optimize the power supply schemes for the facilities of the Trans-Siberian Railway and the ESPO oil pipeline.
