We have already reported on this project here.
In the summer of 2023, we carried out the commissioning of the AT-1 autotransformer protection and the PNR OBR (operational blocking). Commissioning of the 110 kV line protection is planned for this year. Commissioning of the 110 kV protection BSK and, after completion of the second 220 kV overhead line (VL 220 Prizeyskaya No. 2), commissioning of its protection.
The construction of a 220 kV overhead line with a length of 251 km will be carried out in two circuits on separate supports. The line includes two large crossings — through the Zeya reservoir (2 km) and across the Demka River (1.2 km).
The Elga coal deposit is the largest coking coal deposit in Russia. It is part of the Toki coal basin, whose proven reserves exceed 40 billion tons. The deposits of Elga itself amount to 2.2 billion tons. It is located in the south-eastern part of Yakutia, 415 km east of the city of Neryungri and 300 km from the Baikal-Amur highway.

The Elginsky Coal Complex in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) comprises a group of companies engaged in the extraction, processing, transportation and sale of high-quality coking coal with exceptionally low sulfur and phosphorus content. This is the product used in metallurgy. The Elga deposit can be compared with Australian coal deposits such as Goonyella, Gordston and Gregory.Elgaugol

The products of the Elga coal complex are in demand on the world market due to their high quality. The majority of exports go to countries in the Asia-Pacific region, which is due to the favorable geographical location and the development of its own logistics and port infrastructure.
Ensuring sustainable development has a special place in Elga’s value system. We strive to ensure that investments in environmental management, environmental protection and social development are compatible with each other and strengthen the current and future potential of the regions without harming nature and for the benefit of future generations.
The basic principles of sustainable development at Elga:
