As a part of the project to reconstruct the power distribution system in the 6 kV network of the sugar factory, the specialists of Power Systems Group LLC performed a number of tasks to synchronize the Siemens generator.
The scope of work of the main phase included the following:
Laying control cables from the newly installed 6 kV section (feeder No. 2) to the synchronization cabinet and the control system cabinet;
Checking the signal transmission from the new 6 kV switchgear section and the synchronization cabinet;
Setting up frequency relief throughout the company;
Calculation, configuration and checking of generator protection devices;
Calculation, adjustment and verification of turbine interlocks and protection devices;
In the final phase, the synchronization of the second input and the integration of the new cells into the system were carried out; new generator operating modes were implemented and corresponding changes were made to the SCADA system and its visualization.
