220 kV substation TsRP

Comprehensive technical re-equipment and reconstruction of the 220 kV substation TsRP. Branch of PJSC «Rosseti» — MES Siberia.

In Krasnoyarsk, the substation of the largest industrial company was modernized.
Large-scale reconstruction of the 220 kV substation “TsRP”, which supplies the production facilities of the Krasnoyarsk aluminum smelter with electricity. JSC RUSAL Sayanogorsk.

We are carrying out the following commissioning work at the 220 kV TsRP substation:
1. Modernization of the Siprotec 4 6MD devices installed in the 220 kV switchgear (installation and activation of the EN 100+ interface modules);
2. Development of a Digsi project for 6MD devices;
3. Parameterization of 6MD devices;
4. Checking the interaction circuits of the terminals with each other and with the automatic process control system;
5. Checking the operating logic of the OBR switchgear of 220 kV switchgear;
6. Carrying out comprehensive tests, inspections and checks.

The project at this substation provides for the complete replacement of obsolete equipment and the automation of technological processes. This will increase reliability and ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the industrial company. During the reconstruction, an enclosed building was constructed to house the station equipment. The construction of the building made it possible to protect the power equipment from natural influences. A complete 220 kV gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) was installed in the substation, consisting of 1920 switch sets as well as disconnectors, surge arresters, current and voltage transformers.

The advantages of GIS are durability, fire safety and compactness.

In addition, auxiliary transformers are installed, digital communication systems and microprocessor protection are introduced. The equipment will be connected to an automated system enabling remote monitoring of operating parameters and control of the substation’s technological processes. The possibility of remote control will minimize the risk of personnel errors and, if necessary, shorten the time of switching operations. The investment volume for the implementation of the project amounts to 4.6 billion roubles.
